We were on a relocation trip from London and had 5 days to locate the house of our dreams, not much investment time for the biggest investment of our life. When I arrived, Matty and George lined up over 30 homes for us to look at within 3 days, knowing that some would be simple "fly-buys" based on our taste. By the end of the 3 days, I had selected a handful of finalists for my wife to see when she arrived, on July 3rd. The following day (and yes, the holiday of July 4th), Matty went above and beyond to take us around to these finalists, from which we chose our dream home!
Now for most, that would be the end of the story, but not for a couple who just bought a home that needed substantial work, but had to return to London for the next 30 days. This is where I can separate these two from the competition. Matty & George spent personal days returning to my home and working with several companies to receive quotes for us so that we could return and select the right companies for the work. Carpets, hardwood floors, courtyard renovation, driveway gate, and lawn/sprinkler appraisals are just some of the things they received quotes for on our behalf. Amazing! This simply showed us that these two are of that special breed that go above and beyond their call of duty.
Lastly, due to the logistics of moving household goods, a dog, and a wife from both London and Chicago locations, the closing date was vital. If we did not close on time, that following Saturday we would have had two moving trucks and crew turned away. Earlier, that Monday, the Escrow company had made a mistake that would have delayed our closing a week, and I had to fly my wife to NYC to sign paperwork in the U.S. Now many realtors would have said that is just part of closing on a house, not Matty. Matty requested and received full reimbursement for our troubles from all parties at fault, and all was fine! Again, simply an amazing talent.
We love our house, and wound up using 90% of the companies found through Matty's quote process. We plan on living here for a while, but will use Matty & George again in the future. We have since continued to recommend them to everyone we know looking for a home.

I met Matty at the end of 2001 after meeting 5 other real estate agents. I was feeling really frustrated that I wasn't being shown any homes that excited me, or even worse, that I would feel safe living in. Matty was our realtor in the purchase of our home, a 1914 Craftsman duplex in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles. We were very specific clients. We needed a space that was affordable, as we are two retirees on fixed incomes, and we needed a home that was or could be made to be wheelchair accessible.
This was not an easy search, and we easily looked at over 100 properties over a several month period. We finally settled on the duplex on Douglas St., which had fallen into foreclosure and was in the Los Angeles Rent Escrow Program. The escrow period lasted several months because of the complicated nature of the sale and the condition of the property, and if not for Matty's diligence and determination I doubt the sale of the home would have ever been finalized.
Matty is an amazing realtor who brings to the job an incredible sense of ethics, integrity, honesty and hard work. She advocates for her clients tirelessly and works diligently to find them the home that is perfect for them, and within their means. I can't imagine looking for another home with any other realtor.
